Green Art

Students in 3.1 and 3.5 turned into artists to create their own parodies in order to denounce pollution.

Here are the winners of the competition:

This painting represents the  Amazonian forest. It was painted by Claude Feuillet. In the foreground there are green exotic leaves with little pink flowers and tropical colours. In the background there is a lake with green water and trees. Behind there are lots of trees with mist.

Parody:

The parody represents pollution in the Amazonian forest .In the foreground there is a mountain of rubblish with dark colours .In the sky there is a plane which is throwing rubbish into the forest .In the background there is a fire (Léo and Dorian).

Original 

This painting is light, and its colours are blue and green. There is a shade of pink.

In the foreground, there is a pond with pink water lilies. There are sheens on the water.

In the middle, a bridge is above the pond. 

In the background, there is forest. Next to the pond, there are reeds in the water.

This painting looks soothing and calm.

Parody

This  painting is dark.

In the foreground, there are plastic bottles, rubbish and a sea turtle in the plastic in the water : the water is dirty.

On the iron bridge, a man is wearing a gas mask and a red suit.

In the background, there are nuclear plants with smoke.

The sky is black (Romane and Cécilie).

The artist of our painting is Edvard Munch, he was born in Oslo(Norway) in 1863 and he died  on 1944.

Our painting, is named ‘’The Scream’’ it’s his most famous artwork. The Scream was made in 1893. In the painting we can see a person who looks shocked/terrified.He’s screaming with his mouth wide open with his hands on his cheeks.He’s standing on a bridge, behind him further down the bridge we can see two other silhouettes.

In the background we can see a river and we can see a kind an island. At the top of the painting, we can see a bright red sky, that looks like a sunset.

In our parody we are going to put a nuclear plant on the island in the background, a green fish is going to jump out of the water over the bridge. The person in the front will wear a gas mask (Ruebn and Luis)
